Morning Bible Study Will Be Postponed for the Month of August
Morning Bible Study will be postponed in August, however Bible Study will still be held on Wednesday evenings at Rev. Jim Brewster’s home at 6:30PM.

Have we lived up to the promises we’ve made to God and to our brothers and sisters? What is our responsibility to our human family? Join us on Sunday, June 24th as we conclude our series on “Jesus, the Prophet” with a discussion on sheep, sinners and the work of repentance. Jesus calls us, through his parables and through his actions, to welcome those despised by the world. Are we?
Vacation Bible School will be postponed this year
Regretfully, we will postpone Vacation Bible School until next year. There are multiple reasons including care giving and health issues for our leaders. Father’s Day at Walnut UMC
On Sunday, June 17, we celebrated those who “father” us with a sermon by Pastor Jimmy Nih, preceded by Bible trivia with red envelope prizes. Our children joined in a song and our anthem was a beautiful duet by Linda Wilford and Bruce Rosenberg.

John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, once said, “Bring me a worm that can comprehend a human being, and then I will show you a human being that can comprehend the Triune God!” Join us on Sunday as we celebrate Trinity Sunday – a day to reflect on the ways God works in our lives! We may not be able to fully understand the Triune God, but let’s give it a try!
We will also have a special time to remember our service-men and -women who’ve been lost in war on this Memorial Day Sunday. Join us!

This Sunday – May 20, 2018
This Sunday, May 20th, is a special day in the life of the church! Not only will we be celebrating and honoring our graduates, but it is also Pentecost Sunday, the day the Holy Spirit “gave birth” to the church! Come and celebrate our Kindergarten, High School and College graduates and celebrate the birthday of the church! If you are feeling the Spirit, wear red to celebrate Pentecost!
